Pkmn Battle

I know that the constant joke is that Relicman looks like a Cubone and that that is his one perfect Pokemon, but I decided to go with Marowak. Why you may be asking? Well, it makes more sense that he has a Marowak as his signature Pokemon because he probably would evolve his Cubone. In fact, I actually think that if Relicman were to actually play a Pokemon game he would be one of those hardcore competitive battlers who has spent months training their perfectly balanced team to have the best EVs possible. You would get your ass handed to you if you were to fight him unprepared basically. I think that that trait carries over to nearly all games he plays though; he would invest a lot of time giving himself the best armour and weapons possible, grinding levels and generally being prepared for everything. He's probably an absolute beast at Dark Souls thinking about it.

But anyway, I spent the past day making this in order to practise perspective and trying to make something that looks more dynamic I guess. Of course I also noticed that even with the foreshortening, the lack of shading still made it a bit bland, so to make up for it I absolutely saturated the image with some snazzy layer effects. I musta spent about 6 hours on this, maybe a little more (because I wanted to get the perspective all correct), and to be frankly honest, I honestly did not want to spend another several hours shading the thing.
